We values our customers and strives to provide the best service possible. To ensure a smooth customer experience, we kindly request that you review the following policies and guidelines before purchasing any products from us.


Warranty Information

The warranties provided at the time of purchase are those offered by the product manufacturers. Computer Village Agrabad acts as an intermediary to facilitate the warranty process but does not provide warranties independently. Warranty services are carried out according to the terms and conditions set by each manufacturer, which can be found on their respective official websites.


Warranty Terms & Conditions


  1. Compliance with Warranty Policies: We follow the warranty guidelines established by international and domestic authorities, including the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS).
  2. Warranty as a Manufacturer-Consumer Agreement: The warranty is an agreement between the manufacturer/importer and the buyer. We assist in claiming warranty services but do not alter the terms set by manufacturers.
  3. Product Replacement & Repair: Many of our imported products are covered by warranties and are repaired or replaced within a short period based on manufacturer policies.
  4. Warranty Coverage: Only products explicitly covered by the manufacturer's warranty are eligible for service. Warranty durations vary by brand and model (typically 1-3 years for laptops, while batteries and adapters have a 1-year warranty).
  5. Defective Products: If a product is found defective after sale, it will be repaired or replaced based on the type of product and stock availability.
  6. Product Unavailability: If a specific model is unavailable for replacement, we may provide an equivalent model or offer a price adjustment based on depreciation.
  7. Refunds: If repair or replacement is not possible, a refund may be provided based on sales depreciation.
  8. Software & Data: We are not responsible for any data loss or software issues that occur during product usage or servicing.
  9. Service Duration: The time required for servicing a product varies and can range from 5-40 days or longer, depending on the availability of parts.
  10. End of Life (EOL) Products: Lifetime warranty coverage is valid only while the product remains in active market circulation (typically up to 2 years, per BCA policy). If a product is discontinued (EOL), it will no longer be eligible for warranty service.


Warranty Exclusions


The warranty will not apply under the following conditions:

  1. Physical Damage: Warranty is void for products that have been water-damaged, burned, broken, or scratched deeply.
  2. Tampering with Serial Numbers: If the product's serial number is erased, altered, or removed, warranty claims will not be accepted.
  3. Fungus or Rust: Products showing signs of corrosion, deep scratches, or physical damage are not eligible for warranty.
  4. Processor & Motherboard Issues: Bent, broken, or missing motherboard or processor pins will void the warranty.
  5. BIOS Password Issues: We do not apply BIOS passwords during delivery. Any password-related issues are the buyer’s responsibility.
  6. Apple MacBook OS Issues: The warranty does not cover issues related to erased or modified operating systems.
  7. Consumables: Printer cartridges, toners, heads, rollers, drums, and similar consumables are not covered by warranty.
  8. Third-Party Accessories: Using unauthorized ink or toner in printers will void the warranty.
  9. Combo Products: For warranty claims on keyboard-mouse combos, the full set must be presented.
  10. Accessories & Peripherals: Power adapters, routers, switches, TV cards, and similar accessories are not covered under warranty.


Claiming a Warranty


  1. Required Documents: The original product box and warranty receipt must be presented when claiming warranty service.
  2. Dead Pixel Policy: For monitor warranty claims, at least three dead pixels must be present.
  3. Lost Warranty Receipts: If the original warranty receipt is lost, claims will require the purchase receipt and proper verification.


Important Notices


  • Be cautious of counterfeit invoices and unauthorized sellers. Verify product authenticity before purchasing.
  • If a technical pricing error occurs on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
  • Computer Village Agrabad will not be responsible for purchases made through fake invoices or unverified sources.
